Healing is possible, even if right now it feels out of reach. Trauma, addiction, and painful life experiences can leave you feeling disconnected from yourself, stuck in unhealthy patterns, or constantly carrying emotions that seem too heavy to manage alone. You may have learned how to survive, but you deserve the chance to truly heal. As a trauma and addiction certified therapist, I work with children, adolescents, and adults who are ready to move beyond simply getting through the day and begin building a life that feels more peaceful, connected, and fulfilling. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be yourself, understood without judgment, and supported every step of the way.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) with experience working with adolescents, adults, and families. I earned my education and professional training in counseling and have continued to expand my knowledge through specialized training in substance use, trauma, behavioral concerns, and adolescent development. I am also currently pursuing specialized training in the treatment of individuals with sexual behavior concerns.
Much of my professional experience has involved working with adolescents, including youth involved in the juvenile justice system. I have experience addressing substance use, anger and emotional regulation, family and relationship concerns, communication difficulties, self-esteem, behavioral challenges, decision-making, and life transitions. I also enjoy helping clients identify their strengths, understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and develop practical skills they can use outside of counseling.
As a counselor, I believe that people are more than a diagnosis, a mistake, or a difficult season in their lives. My approach is supportive, straightforward, and focused on creating a space where clients can be themselves without feeling judged. I value building genuine relationships with my clients and believe counseling works best when we can work together toward goals that are meaningful and realistic for you.

I believe therapy works best when people feel genuinely safe, understood, and respected. My goal is to create a space where clients can show up honestly without fear of judgment. I know that starting therapy can feel uncomfortable or vulnerable, especially for people who are used to carrying things on their own, and I take seriously the trust it takes to open up to another person.
I am an LGBTQ-affirming clinician and believe deeply in creating a supportive and inclusive environment where clients can explore their experiences authentically. I approach therapy with compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person’s individual story and lived experience.
Much of my work centers around helping people who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or unsure how to move forward. Whether someone is navigating addiction, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship struggles, or major life stressors, I aim to help them feel less alone while working toward meaningful and lasting change.
Above all, I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is one of the most important parts of the healing process. Research consistently shows that a strong connection between therapist and client is one of the strongest predictors of success in therapy. Because of that, I place a high value on building a relationship grounded in trust, honesty, collaboration, and authenticity.
