Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and I value creating a space where you do not have to carry things alone. Clients often describe me as calm, compassionate, and grounded. I will meet you where you are, support you at your own pace, and help you build greater understanding, healing, and connection with yourself.
Share personal context to help clients relate to you. Be sure to include your education, professional background, and specific treatment areas / populations served.

As a Black man, I understand the specific pressures we carry, the ones that we handle alone and don't always show. As a therapist, I help Black men work through depression, anxiety, relationship strain, identity questions, and the expectation to act like everything is fine when it isn't. Black men are not a monolith, and my work reflects that. I've worked with active duty military, veterans, clergy and people of faith, college students, the LGBTQIA+ community, and men living with HIV/AIDS. I built Brother2Brother Therapy Services because I saw a need for mental health care built for Black men. A space where there's no performing and no code-switching. Just honest conversation, brother to brother.
