I am a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor who has been in the field for over 17 years. My experience has included many years of working with co-occurring disorders, including depression, anxiety, parenting issues, grief and trauma. Many of my clients come to me feeling like something is holding them back. Stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, struggling to communicate in ways that feel authentic, or searching for healthier ways to cope with life's challenges. They often describe a sense that their personal growth has stalled, even when they can't quite put their finger on why.
I’m a bilingual (English/Español) Licensed Mental Health Counselor who believes therapy shouldn’t feel like a sterile doctor’s appointment. My clients are hardworking adults, professionals, and cycle-breakers who are tired of white-knuckling their way through the week. They come to me dealing with anxiety, massive burnout, ADHD, Autism, and the heavy weight of life transitions. They stay because I skip the clinical robot-speak and get straight to "real talk."
I know what it’s like to juggle impossible schedules, which is exactly why I designed my practice to fit yours. I offer weekend and late-evening virtual sessions so you don’t have to burn your PTO or stress about missing work just to take care of your mental health.

Hello and welcome!
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who has been in the field for 20+ years. The first 12 years of my career were spent working children, adolescents, and families in a mental health agency. During the years I worked at this agency I took on a multitude of roles such as providing individual and family-based therapy, working as a crisis clinician, serving as a care coordinator, as well as serving as a consultant to various local day care centers. In 2018 I decided to shift gears away from the clinical setting and moved towards being a school-based support. I am currently a School Adjustment Counselor in the elementary school setting who provides support to various children in grades k-5 as well as offering a multitude of resources and supports to local parents, caregivers and community providers. Despite my extensive work with children and adolescents, I do have experience working with adults as well.
My journey stems from my own story of resilience in the face of hardships. I became a therapist because I have always wanted to help people through some of their darkest hours. Being exposed to some dark hours myself, I know that it is difficult to do it alone. When you have someone to confide in, assist you through the hard times, and just let you know that you are not alone, makes a difference.
My therapeutic approach includes CBT, Person-Centered Therapy, Relational Therapy, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, SFT, EFT, IFS, and just speaking like a human being. I offer a compassionate, trauma-informed space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported. My approach is relational and personalized—we'll explore your story together, build coping tools, and move toward healing with curiosity, courage, and care.
Therapy with me is real, down-to-earth, and never boring. I mix honesty, humor, and heart to make the process comfortable. I help adults manage emotions, build confidence, and tackle life's challenges with tools that work. Think of it as a safe space to be yourself, grow, and maybe laugh along the way. I welcome all marginalized and disenfranchised individuals to my practice. I work closely with LGBTQIA+ communities especially gender diverse/trans communities. I have 23 years of experience in research and education around complex trauma/CPTSD.
As a white provider I participate in lifelong learning and activism to aid in dismantling racism in healthcare settings.
I cannot move mountains for you, but I can help you climb. Facing fears, healing from loss, finding meaning and joy - these are the inevitable tasks of life. Therapy may be your first step or your last resort. Often people avoid it all together because they believe their pain is too great, worry they will be judged or that their situation is too complicated. Some people believe they should solve problems on their own or only with family and friends. However, while family and friends may want the best for us, they often come with opinions or past hurts. Sometimes it helps to have a safe space outside your daily experience.
