Hi, I'm glad you're here. Reaching out for therapy takes courage, and I don't take that lightly.
I'm a therapist who believes people are more capable than they give themselves credit for. My job is to help you see the strengths you already have and put them to work. I'll be warm with you, and I'll also be honest with you. Most people tell me that combination is what they were looking for.
Outside of session, my life is pretty full. I work out because it keeps my head clear, I almost always have a book going, and I volunteer at my church. My kids are college athletes, so a lot of our weekends are spent on the road watching them compete. When I get a real break, you'll find me at the beach. I mention all of this because I know what it's like to juggle a lot, and I'm not going to hand you advice that only works in a perfect week.
I work primarily with adults experiencing the effects of developmental trauma, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, and relationship difficulties. Many of my clients struggle with feeling disconnected from themselves, navigating major life transitions, or understanding patterns rooted in earlier experiences.
Hi, I’m Tammy. I believe therapy should feel like a supportive conversation—a two-sided dialogue built on warmth, compassion, and a genuine desire to understand your unique story.
As a therapist, I am dedicated to creating a safe and open-minded environment where we can work together to turn your challenges into strengths
Oftentimes the beginning of any new journey can feel intimidating and overwhelming. Taking that first step toward something unknown can bring uncertainty, vulnerability, and discomfort. As your counselor, my goal is to meet you where you are, creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted. I believe that healing and growth happen through genuine connection and collaboration. Together, we will identify realistic goals that align with your unique needs and values, while working at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
