Hi, I'm Scarlett LMFT, and I'm glad you're here. I work with individuals navigating all sorts of different life challenges. I aim to create a space where you feel understood and supported without judgement. My background includes working with youth and adults, and I tailor therapy to meet your needs. Together, we'll focus on helping you feel more grounded, confident and connected in your life. I also have experience supporting women navigating fertility, IVF and the transition to motherhood.
My practice is open to children, adolescents, and adults from all walks of life. I focus on anxiety, depression, and ADHD, and I also support people navigating trauma, mood disorders, and major life changes. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and genuinely involved in your care. I use evidence-based treatment and build personalized plans with each patient, not just for them. Whether you are just starting out or looking for a new direction, I am here to support lasting progress.
What we see as flaws often echo patterns rooted in early experiences that shaped our connections with ourselves and others. Trauma, unknowingly, informs these unconscious ways of being that once helped us navigate emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.
With 4+ years of experience treating eating disorders, trauma, and navigating life transitions across outpatient, intensive day programs (IOP/PHP), and residential settings, I bring a trauma-informed approach to help unravel these patterns.
My name is Geno Creese, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Drama Therapist (#942) accepting virtual clients in California. Regardless of presenting issues, I like to meet my clients where they are at; whether you are new to mental health support or are a seasoned veteran there is space for you here. We will work to identify what is getting in the way of you meeting your goals and address these challenges together. That said, we will work together each session with whatever you bring to the room.
I completed my undergraduate degree from the University of San Diego, double majoring in business administration and psychology. I then continued my education and graduated with honors from Pepperdine University with a master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. I completed my traineeship through the YWCA, working at a middle school and at YWCA sexual assault/ domestic violence clinic. Post graduation I started my job with LGTC and spent two years in the adult and teen mental health IOP and PHP program as a group and individual therapist . I recently transitioned to working at the outpatient level of care, and I am so excited about this new chapter
I am currently accepting new clients. Life can feel loud, confusing, or just plain heavy, and you do not have to sort through it alone. I work with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, mood changes, personality-related struggles, and big emotions. Whether you are looking for support for your child or for yourself, our work can help you feel more understood, more steady, and better equipped for everyday life.
