Hi! Are you curious about what therapy would be like? Or maybe you’ve gone before and are back for more? One of my first goals is to make sure you feel at ease with the therapeutic process. You don’t have to worry about what to say or where to start. It’s my honor and duty to ask the questions and listen intently. I’m here for you!
Whatever's brought you here — depression that's hard to shake, anxiety that won't quiet down, the weight of past trauma, the ups and downs of bipolar disorder, or strain in your closest relationships — you don't have to navigate it alone. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 28 years of experience, and I've spent that time helping individuals find their way through life's hardest stretches.
My specialties include depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and trauma, along with deep experience in relationships, family dynamics, child development, and parenting. After nearly three decades in this work, very little feels too big or too complicated to bring into the room — and I'll meet you with both warmth and the honesty that real change requires. I offer both, telehealth and in person sessions.
It’s a pleasure to meet you! I’m a psychologist who believes therapy should be a safe space where you can feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. I know that reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, so I strive to create a warm, collaborative environment where you can show up as you are. Whether you’re navigating a difficult season, feeling stuck, or hoping to better understand yourself and your relationships, we can work together toward meaningful and sustainable change. Whatever your circumstances, balancing your own needs while caring for others—including the people you love most—can be difficult. Therapy can be a place where there is room for you, too.
My professional and confidential counseling service offers an opportunity for you to reach your goals and the best version of yourself without leaving the comfort of your home with telemental health counseling. Individuals and Couples can participate in a counseling service that is tailored to meet your individualized needs. I am here to listen, support, encourage, guide and coach. I partner with you to create an effective plan that best fits your needs at a pace that is comfortable for you.
I am Candice Clayton of Clayton Counseling Services and I started out in this field with the purpose of educating people on mental health and providing children, adults and families with the services they need to manage their mental health. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of California. I obtained my masters of Social Work from the University of Southern California and have been providing counseling for over 15 years in various settings with dynamically different clients. My clinical counseling experience includes working within a variety of different areas with children, adults and couples in both residential and outpatient settings. I have worked with emotionally disturbed youth, survivors of child/teen sex trafficking, individuals struggling with gender and sexual identity, couples struggling through communication, infidelity and co-parenting and many other people that were at various phases of life and benefited from some counseling support. I consider my experience extensive and am sure that I can support you through your journey.
I use she/her pronouns. I am a child of refugees. I have a Master of Social Work and did my Bachelor of Arts in Asian American Studies with a Minor in Global Health. I have worked with many individuals struggling with a range of challenges including but not limited to depression, anxiety, psychosis, alcohol and substance use/abuse, chronic health challenges such as HIV and diabetes, as well as gender affirming care. In my free time, I enjoy playing a variety of video games, going to live shows, grabbing a bite to eat with loved ones, exploring new areas, and riding my motorcycle.
There are some things in life that are too hard to face alone. If you or a loved one have experienced trauma, relationship struggles, stresses related to parenting or taking care of an aging parent, grief at the loss of a beloved member of your life, anxiety, depression, survivor or witness to abuse, or seeking tools for living with wellness. Please come and be welcome in a healing space.
You've probably been the strong one for a long time. The one who figures it out, holds it together,
keeps moving. And maybe you're realizing that approach has a cost.
I'm Amber, the founder of Resolution Therapy & Wellness and a Licensed Marriage and Family
Therapist with 17 years of experience. I work with adults who are ready to stop white-knuckling their
way through anxiety, relationship patterns, and emotional overload — and start understanding
what's actually driving it.
I specialize in working with highly sensitive people (HSPs), LGBTQ+ individuals and allies, young
adults navigating identity and early relationships (ages 18–26), and anyone dealing with career
stress, grief, or the kind of relationship patterns that keep repeating. I bring a culturally sensitive,
strength-based lens to everything I do, and I take a direct, solution-focused approach — because I
know your time matters and you want to actually feel different, not just talk about feeling different.
I accept Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, Carelon Behavioral Health, and
Cigna. I offer evening appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 4:30pm — designed for
working adults who can't step away from their day.
Through the course of my career I have primarily worked with individuals who are experiencing Depression and Anxiety, adjusting to life changes and transitions, having difficulty managing stress, and challenges with interpersonal relationships. I support healthy communication in relationships and explore parenting skills to encourage healthy family dynamics. I also work with the Deaf individuals and understand the cultural needs.
Hi there, my name is Amber Allen, and I'm a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS). It's an honor to have you read my profile, and take the courageous step towards healing. I've been in practice since 2008, and have had the pleasure in specializing in Eating Disorders, Body Image Issues, and disordered eating patterns for over a decade. I have served as a Primary Therapist, Program Director, and Clinical Director in various Eating Disorder IOP/PHP/Residential facilities throughout Southern and Northern CA. Eating Disorders are not a one size fits all, and it is my mission to also support BIPOC communities that may feel unseen in terms of disordered eating/eating disorder support. In addition to eating disorders, I clinically treat: Adults 18-65+ Mood Disorders, Trauma/Sexual Trauma, PTSD, Women's Health (Perinatal, Post-Partum, Perimenopause/Menopause), Professional Athletes, Professional Arts Community, Life-Transitions, Relationship Issues, Pre-Marital Therapy, Spirituality/Faith Based Support, Couple's Issues, Family Therapy, etc.
