Latosha Jackson is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 16 years in mental health care. She has worked in inpatient settings, outpatient clinics, and substance use rehab. That breadth means she has met patients at every stage of recovery and is hard to surprise.

She earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Chamberlain College of Nursing. She also holds dual master's degrees, one in Executive Nursing and one in Psychiatric Mental Health. That training shapes how she thinks about diagnosis and care today.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner that is interested in providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health care services through psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. I come from a strong nursing background, with over 10 years of experience working with clients experiencing changes to their mental and physical health in both outpatient and inpatient settings. My educational background includes a Master of Science from the University of Texas Health Science Center of Houston, Cizik School of Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Texas Tech University Health Science Center.

After the Air Force I graduated from Nicholls State University in Louisiana as an RN, I then joined the Navy Nurse Corps. In my 20yr career I have worked in-patient psychiatry, post-surgical, oncology (three different settings), home infusions, and a private physicians office. While in NP school, I worked as an in-patient staff nurse at Harris County Psychiatric Center. My special interests are in adolescents, eating disorders, and PTSD (esp veterans).

As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I believe everyone deserves a safe space to be heard, supported, and understood. Reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to navigate life’s challenges alone. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, mood disorders, and other mental health concerns, and I strive to create a warm, relaxed, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping each person find balance, healing, and emotional wellness at their own pace.

Hi, I’m Dr. Deneice, DNP, MBA, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC. I am a doctoral-prepared, board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and owner of Eden Total Care.

I provide concierge-style virtual psychiatric care for young-feeling adults at any age who are navigating anxiety, depression, insomnia, PTSD, PMDD, ADHD, autism-related concerns, mood symptoms, emotional overwhelm, burnout, and diagnostic uncertainty.
